Sun Chasers Canada (sun-chasers.ca) is a flight deal aggregator that helps Canadians find discounted flights to sunny destinations. We are not a travel agency and do not sell tickets.

We collect very little personal data:

• Usage data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, and session durations — collected via standard analytics tools to understand which deals are popular and to improve the site.
• Cookies: we use essential technical cookies (e.g. language preference) and, where applicable, anonymised analytics cookies.
• Contact data: if you email us, we retain your address and message content only to respond to you.

We do not collect names, addresses, payment details, or any other sensitive personal data.

• To display relevant flight deals and improve site content.
• To understand which destinations and departure cities interest users.
• To respond to email enquiries.
• To publish flight deals on Pinterest via the Pinterest API (no user data is sent to Pinterest — only public deal content from the site is shared).

• We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties.
• We do not send unsolicited marketing emails.
• We do not track users across other websites.

We use a small number of third-party services to operate the site:

• Duffel — to fetch live flight prices.
• OpenWeatherMap — for destination weather data.
• Cloudflare — hosting, CDN, and bot protection.
• Pinterest API — to automatically post flight deals as Pins. Only public deal data (price, destination, image) is shared.

These providers have their own privacy policies and do not receive your personal data from us.

Analytics data is retained per the provider's default settings (typically 14–26 months). Contact emails are retained only as long as needed to address your enquiry.

If you are a resident of the EU, UK, or Canada, you have the right to access and request deletion of any personal data we hold about you. Contact us at info@sun-chasers.ca.

We may update this policy from time to time. For material changes we will update the effective date at the top of this page.
